Richard Martens believes that walking with people through life’s biggest decisions—buying or selling a home—is more than a career; it’s a calling. His passion lies in guiding clients through the process with care, easing the stress that often comes with such meaningful transitions.
Real estate has always been part of Richard’s life. With his father serving as a broker and managing agents for more than 40 years, and his mother still thriving as an agent after 25 years, he grew up surrounded by contracts, negotiations, and closing details. After graduating college with degrees in Communication Studies and Marketing, he naturally followed in their footsteps and launched his real estate career in 2005.
He began in new construction, partnering with a local developer to provide affordable housing condominiums for first-time buyers, retirees, and everyone in between. Since then, Richard has worked with a diverse range of clients—buyers, sellers, and investors—across both new construction and resale properties. Over the course of nearly two decades, he has been personally involved in more than $50 million in real estate sales and has earned numerous Top 10 office recognitions for his performance. Through it all, Richard remains committed to helping people achieve their goals while building trust and long-term relationships every step of the way.
Today, Richard also serves on the leadership team at Redbird Real Estate, where he plays a key role in shaping the firm’s culture, mentoring agents, and helping guide the company’s long-term growth and vision.
